On April 18, 2008, at Ichihara Hall in Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture at Kaname Kawabata (29) of the popular Japanese pop / R&B duo, Chemistry announced that he was going to father a child with his new wife, model Miki Takahashi.
In front of an audience of 1500, Kawabata announced, “I have been blessed with a baby. As a man, I will do my best”. Yoshikuni Dochin (29), also of Chemistry and father of two young children, congratulated and hugged Kawabata.
Kawabata and Takahashi registered their marriage on April 6. The couple met in June 2007.
On April 13th, up and coming R&B artist, Thelma Aoyama emphatically stated at a FM OSAKA event in the Naniwa Ward of Osaka City. Over 1000 fans packed “Nanba HATCH”, the event’s venue. “I’m going back (to Tokyo) because I have a 3rd period class tomorrow”, she laughed and said. To the delight of the fans, the university songstress sang her popular song “Saboni irune” which appeals for university students to attend classes.
